Buenos Aires, November 19 (NA) – The brother of Carlos Bilardo, Jorge Bilardo, revealed that he told the former world champion coach about the death of Miguel Ángel Russo, and his reaction was to 'stand still and shed a few tears'. 'When I told Carlos (Bilardo) about Miguel's (Russo) death, he stood still and cried a little,' Jorge recounted in an interview for the radio program 'Super Deportivo,' according to AgenciaNoticias Argentinas. Bilardo and Russo coincided in two stages at Estudiantes de La Plata: the first time was for the debut of 'Miguelo' in 1975; and the second occurred when 'The Doctor' returned to the bench of 'Pincha' in 1982. 'Yes, we told him, poor Miguel, he fought a lot. That's when we realized we had to tell him.'
